Phase One
Phase one of the Fake™ campaign is meant to expose the amount of manipulations in our society and which products are manipulating. This part of the campaign used different size hot pink diagonal stickers containing the word fake and the website, www.whatthefake.com, at the bottom. The color of the stickers, which is also the main color of the campaign, was chosen because of its ability to stand out on almost any product and image. The simplicity of the stickers allows the public to perceive at a quick glance the amount of products and advertisements that distort the truth in our society.
